Diablo 2 Resurrected Class Tier List – 3 Tips to Level Up Fast
Alright let’s talk Diablo 2 Resurrected class picks and how not to be a slowpoke like I was last week. Wanted a Barbarian, felt tough, you know? Big mistake early on.
Started like this:
Hopped into a new Barbarian game feeling confident.
Spent forever whacking Fallen Ones in the Blood Moor with Bash.
Felt like hitting them with a wet noodle.
Got maybe halfway through Act 1 and already felt bored and slow.
Died. A lot. To Andariel. Total mess. Waste of an evening. Felt stupid.
Time for Plan B – Reading Stuff After Screwing Up
Next day, decided maybe I should look up what smarter people are doing before wasting another day. Found out Barbarians are kinda rough early on. Who knew? Felt kinda dumb.
So, Tried the Meta Stuff:
Scrapped the Barb. Went Sorceress, because everyone says “Blizzard.” Cold stuff.
Rushed Act 1 like mad. Didn’t kill every single critter, just ran past trash to find the boss or the next quest.
Died less, killed faster. Leveled up quicker just doing quests and key monsters.
Actually made it to Act 3 before bed!
Way better. Still not fast, but not painful anymore.
The Real Game Changer – Playing Like I Have an Appointment
Okay, Sorc was better. But I saw people talking about really flying through levels.
Tried That “Rush” Thing Properly:
Started another Cold Sorc (felt boring, but efficient…sigh).
This time: Zero clearing trash mobs. Zero. Total tunnel vision.
Literally just:
Ran straight to objectives like Cairn Stones.
Killed ONLY the boss packs for big XP bursts.
Ignored everything else unless it blocked the door.
Gear? Grabbed the absolute first blue staff and gear with +skills or FCR (casting speed) I found. Didn’t grind for perfect stuff.
Used Blizzard on big groups or tough bosses, Frozen Orb for smaller packs or running.
Act 1 took maybe 20 minutes. Seriously. Act 2? Beat Duriel before lunch. The trick was freezing him solid with Glacial Spike, then dumping Blizzard on him. Just melted him.
Suddenly, being under-leveled felt efficient. Hitting level 24 around Act 3 felt weirdly fast after the Barb disaster. The game practically throws XP at you when you only hunt champions and bosses. Left Act 3 feeling like I finally got the memo. Focus on the quest steps like your life depends on it, let the levels come naturally from bosses. Much smoother ride. Forgot to even try the Baal runs. Maybe later.
